A wildlife-focused journey explores some of Ethiopia's most spectacular natural and cultural destinations, including Addis Ababa, the Simien Mountains, Bale Mountains National Park, Awash National Park and Alideghe Wildlife Reserve. Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, you will be met by your local representative and transferred by private vehicle into the city. The day's sightseeing begins with a drive to Mount Entoto, the highest point overlooking Addis Ababa, where your guide will introduce Ethiopia's history and the origins of the capital. The tour continues to the National Museum, where exhibits showcase archaeological discoveries and Ethiopia's cultural heritage. Later, visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the country's most important religious landmarks, before exploring the lively Merkato district, known as one of Africa's largest open-air markets. Throughout the day, your guide will provide commentary on Ethiopian history, culture, religion, and daily life.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Gondar. Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and travel by road through the scenic highlands to Debark, the gateway to Simien Mountains National Park. Following registration procedures at the park headquarters, continue into the mountain range. During an introductory walk near the lodge, your guide will explain the unique ecology of the region and help identify wildlife, including the endemic Gelada monkey. The afternoon offers excellent opportunities for photography against the backdrop of dramatic cliffs and valleys.

Spend a full day exploring the national park by vehicle and on foot. Accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide, traverse spectacular viewpoints overlooking deep escarpments and rugged peaks. Wildlife observations may include Gelada monkeys, Walia ibex, klipspringers, and numerous highland bird species. Frequent stops are made for nature interpretation and panoramic photography.

Take a morning flight to Goba in southeastern Ethiopia. After meeting your local guide, travel to Dinsho, the administrative centre of Bale Mountains National Park. Walks through the forested landscape provide opportunities to observe mountain nyala, Menelik's bushbuck, and other species that inhabit the park.

Travel by road to the Sanetti Plateau, one of Africa's highest alpine environments. Throughout the day, your guide will explain the unique characteristics of the Afro-alpine ecosystem and the conservation challenges facing its wildlife. Search for the Ethiopian wolf, one of the world's rarest canids, while also observing high-altitude birdlife and endemic mammals adapted to this extreme environment.

Overnight: Goba
Begin the day with further exploration of the plateau before descending into the Harenna Forest. The dramatic change in vegetation and climate offers a striking contrast to the alpine landscape visited earlier. Your guide will discuss the ecological significance of the forest and help identify endemic primates, including the Bale monkey, as well as other forest-dwelling wildlife and bird species.

Overnight: Goba
Depart Bale Mountains National Park and journey north toward Awash National Park. During the drive, your guide will highlight changing landscapes and local communities encountered along the route. Stops may be made at scenic locations and around Lake Beseka to observe birdlife and wildlife. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy the natural hot springs.

After breakfast, travel to Alideghe Wildlife Reserve for a game-viewing excursion. Accompanied by your guide, search for desert-adapted mammals and birds that inhabit the reserve's open plains. Following lunch and relaxation at the lodge, continue with an afternoon wildlife drive in the Awash area, exploring grasslands and acacia woodlands in search of antelope, foxes, and additional birdlife.

After breakfast, return by road to Addis Ababa. Along the journey, your guide will provide final insights into Ethiopia's geography, culture, and wildlife conservation efforts.
