Rio Lagartos in a beautiful fishing port where you can find an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, but also offers adventure and fun as it protects the Río Lagartos Biosphere which protects the flora and fauna of the place.
One of the attractions that Rio Lagartos has are the Flamingos that come to feed and nest in the biosphere, and that offer a beautiful show when they arrive in large flocks painting the sky pink.
At the end of the flamingo sighting, you will be directed to the "Maya Bath", the Mayan bath. Put them all over the body and after a long time on the body, the skin is soft and clean, this is due to its high concentrations of sulfur, minerals, salts and algae which act as skin exfoliators leaving a feeling of softness throughout the body.
After lunch you will go to Coloradas, where you will enjoy a refreshing swim in the red waters of these pink water lakes.
Thanks to its high amounts of salt in this mud you will float easily and its accumulation will create a white foam that will completely envelop you, then you will return to Mérida.
