Join us to tour the mangroves of Mandinga, enjoy a boat ride on the lagoon and fall in love with the nature of the area. After the tour, you can enjoy delicious seafood in Mandinga's restaurants, widely recognized for their good taste and freshness.
We’ll begin the tour from our offices located inside Plaza Acuario, where we’ll welcome you and share a few important guidelines before starting. From there, we’ll take a 35-minute drive to the town of Mandinga. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the charming lagoon, a vast mirror reflecting the bright sun—you might find yourself instinctively shielding your eyes to take in the view.
We’ll board a boat for a 45-minute ride, where you’ll experience the beauty of this unique setting. As you watch the behavior of local birds among the lush vegetation, the environment will draw you in, with the mangroves creating a reflective, peaceful atmosphere. Halfway through the ride, we’ll stop at the famous "Isla de las Conchitas," where you’ll have about 10 minutes to take photos and admire this picturesque spot.
Along the Mandinga riverbank, you’ll find a great variety of restaurants, each offering delicious, fresh seafood. We’ll gladly provide a recommendation to make your choice easier. After your meal, we’ll meet you at the same spot where we began the tour. Please be sure to follow the instructions from the operator to keep the itinerary on schedule. Around 6:30 pm, we’ll arrive back at Plaza Acuario, where the tour originally began.
