During this 8 days round tour we will be sight-seeing the Central Province with Kandy, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka, picturesque and romantic highland spots like Ella with its Ravana waterfalls and British-built Nine Arch Bridge in the heart of the tea growing county.

The magnificent Sigiriya Rock and the village tour will give you an insight into Sri Lankan culture and way of life.

The tour will be topped with the Yala National Park safari and the leisure time at Mirissa at the southern end of the country.

Day 1 Airport - Sigiriya - Habarana

Arrival at the Colombo International Airport. Clients will be welcomed by our Ceylon classic tours representative and transfer to a hotel in Sigiriya then proceeds to Habarana. And enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 2 Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

In and around Polonnaruwa Stop At Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka. After breakfast the next morning, you will visit the archaeological city of Polonnaruwa, after this, you can have a nice lunch and then drive to one of the national parks to see a lot of wild elephants. Afterward, you will return back to the hotel in Sigiriya. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 3 Sigiriya - Kandy

After breakfast, you will visit the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. At your request, we can arrange a village tour. After driving to Kandy, on the way, visits a spice garden and Hindu temple. Arrive to hotel in Kandy.

Sigiriya the Ancient Rock Fortress Sigiriya is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site for its best-preserved ancient urban planning. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft.) high.

Village tour gives you a chance to experience traditional Sri Lanka with all its authenticity. Spend time with the villagers and understand village life, we will pass by the Hindu Temple Matale Sri Muthu Mariamman Temple.

In the Spice Garden, you will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed and you will also be able to purchase spices dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

Day 4 Kandy

Kandy is a major city located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient king's era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.

You will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this golden roofed Temple houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. Visit Kandy View Point, walk around Kandy Lake, and enjoy a shopping excursion at Kandy City Center.

Day 5 Kandy - Ella

The rail ride from Kandy to Ella is known as one of the most scenic train trips in the world. This memorable journey commences from Nanuoya; the last royal capital of the country to Ella a peaceful, scenic village in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Duration: 3 hours Ella, often described as "lonely planet’" and "waterfall’" is a congested town located in Sri Lanka. Ella is a purely natural beauty, with its waterfalls, greenery, and hills it is just jaw-dropping. It has views that one hasn’t witnessed before, scenes one hasn’t seen before and nature one hasn’t felt before. Ella is the perfect place to go if one wants to refresh the brain. It has many famous places and has been under the attention of tourists for a decent amount of time now. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Ella.

Day 6 Ella - Little Adam’s Peak - Nine Arch Bridge - Tissamaharama - Ravana Waterfall - Yala National Park

After breakfast visits Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge. After we will depart to Tissamaharama. On the way, we will be visiting the Ravana waterfalls. In the mid-afternoon, you will leave for a jeep safari in Yala National Park. Yala National Park Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park.

Day 7 Yala - Mirissa

After breakfast, we will transfer to Mirissa. Once we reach Mirissa you will check in to a hotel there and enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Mirissa.

Day 8 Mirissa - Airport

Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake 11450, Sri Lanka There is no itinerary planned for the day. After breakfast at the hotel, we will be departing for Bandaranaike International Aiport in time to catch your flight (at least 2-3 hours before your flight), concluding at the end of this tour.
