Day 1 Negombo - Sigiriya

Meet and Greet at the Airport.

Negombo City Tour, Negombo Beach.

Proceed to Sigiriya.

Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to approx 60 elephants. Watch the baby elephants play and bathe in the river; watch them being fed, or feed them yourself. Reach Sigiriya

Day 2 Sigiriya - Dambulla

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit Sigiriya Rock. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 - 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes.

Visit Dambulla Rock temples. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains.There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves

Day 3 Sigiriya - Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed To Kandy.

Visit Temple of Tooth in Kandy (Sri Dalada Maligawa). The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

Evening Kandy city tour.

Day 4 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. One of the finest in Asia, which dates back to the 14th century (optional). Journey up through the hills, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), pine and eucalyptus forests and vast green tea estates.

Visit a tea factory where you will not only enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon tea but will also have the opportunity to witness the intricacies involved in its manufacturing process.

Reach Nuwara Eliya, a “city above the clouds” at 1980m above sea level. A golf course, race course for horse racing, English country style cottages and planters bungalows are all witnesses of its colonial past.

Day 5 Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure & enjoy scenic beauty, visit the Hakgala Botanical Garden.

Optional visit to Lake Gregory. Overnight at Ashley Resort Nuwara Eliya or similar hotel.

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya - Mirissa

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Mirissa, relax at the Mirissa Beach. Relax at the Bentota Beach

Overnight at Number One Mirissa or simiar hotel.

Day 7 Mirissa - Bentota

Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed to Mirissa. Early morning morning whale watching in Mirissa.

Mirissa whale watching remains a year around leisure activity in Sri Lanka. These charming giants in the deep blue waters come under the category of marine mammals. Whales live merely in salty waters where it is believed to help the whales to recover rapidly from injuries and be resistant towards sicknesses dolphins.

Proceed to Koggala.

Relax at the beach.

Day 8 Bentota - Airport

Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed to Colombo. City tour of Colombo commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst the oldest colonial hotel GOH. It has a fantastic view of the Colombo harbor, a lighthouse with a clock tower (older than Big Ben in London) close to the president’s house and old parliament.

Afterwards, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka. Stops will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old race course with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, shopping in Colombo highlights: Pettah, Street Market, Galle Face, Dutch Museums.

Proceed to airport with lingering memories of your trip to Sri Lanka.
