Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka’s highest town and a favourite hill station during British colonial times. The town is still touted as ‘Little England’, an illusion maintained by the presence of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, a racecourse, the Victoria Park and excellent trout fishing in nearby lakes and rivers.
Ambewela Farm is situated in the lush green hills of Nuwara Eliya, Ambewela Farms are made up of two farms, Ambewela Farm and New Zealand Farm a few kilometers away from Nuwara Eliya. Both are dairy farms. New Zealand Farm is located only 3-4 Km away from Ambewela Farm. New Zealand farm rears pure bred Friesian cows and maintains a pure line of cattle.
Day 1 Colombo - St. Clair’s Falls - Devon Waterfalls - Nuwara Eliya
Pick you up in the hotel early in the morning with take away breakfast, leave Colombo to Nuwara Eliya. Witness St. Clair’s & Devon Waterfalls at Talawakelle. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and have lunch.
Commence Nuwara Eliya city tour including a visit to the Market, City Park (Victoria Park), Gregory’s Lake and end of the day we take you back to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Ambewela Farm - Hakgala Botanical Gardens
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for an excursion to Ambewela Farm. Evening at leisure and visit Hakgala Botanical Gardens and overnight stay at hotel
Day 3 Ramboda Waterfall - Tea Factory - Gannoruwa Farm - Colombo
After breakfast at hotel, leave for Colombo, en-route visiting Ramboda Waterfall and tea factory.
After lunch visit the model farm at Gannoruwa and arrive in Colombo and drop you off to the hotel.
