Riverstone is located approximately 30 km from the Matale town, when travelling on Matale Girandurukotte road, rather windy with quite a few hairpins turns but in good condition, offers great views all around with a mini worlds and much less travelled by mainstream tourists.
Wasgamuwa is well known for its abundant wildlife population, wilderness setting and home of several interesting ancient sites. Wasgamuwa is distinguished from other parks by having a full complement of predators of which bears are particularly noteworthy.
Day 1 Riverstone - Pitawala Pathana - Mini Worlds End
After breakfast leave Colombo and proceed to Wasgamuwa via Knuckles region. Arrive at Riverstone area and enjoy botanical environmental beauty with the backdrop of Knuckles Range and visit Pitawala Pathana and Small Worlds End. Have a river bath in Thelgamu Oya at Illukkumbura.
Arrive at Wasgamuwa and check-in at the hotel. Take dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Wasgamuwa National Park
Leave hotel early morning for a half day safari at Wasgamuwa with picnic breakfast. After come back to the hotel, take lunch at the hotel the rest of the day relax at the hotel take dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Return to Colombo
After breakfast pick you up at the hotel and return to Colombo via Naula and drop you off to the hotel in Colombo.
