A 6-day private tour will begin with your arrival in Chennai and include Kanchipuram, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Darasuram, Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Chidambaram, Pondicherry & Mahabalipuram in its itinerary. You will visit many temples, each surpassing the other in terms of their architectural beauty, of which few are active and few inactive temples, few small and few largest temples. Private AC vehicle, local English-speaking guide and monument entrances are well included in the package price.
Day 1 Arrive Chennai
On arrival at Chennai airport, assistance & transfer to the hotel. Later visit Fort St. George, St Mary's Church inside the fortress, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Government Museum, Dakshinachitra Museum, Santhome Cathedral & Marina Beach.

Day 2 Chennai - Vellore (140kms)
Drive to Vellore via visiting Kanchipuram Kailasanathar temple, Ekambareswarar temple, Varadharaja temple, Vaikundhaperumal temple & Kamakshiamman temple. Continue driving to Vellore and check in at the hotel. Later, visit Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple, gilded with 1500kg of pure gold. Also visit Vellore Fort & Jalakandeswarar Temple inside the fort.

Day 3 Vellore - Trichy (280kms)
Drive to Trichy via Tiruvannamalai, a Hindu pilgrimage town at the foot of sacred Arunachala Hill. Visit ancient Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple & Unnamalai Amman. Continue driving to Trichy and check in at the hotel. Evening visit Ranganathaswamy Temple to attend Arti.

Day 4 Trichy - Thanjavur (60kms)
Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, the largest functional temple in the world. The Rock Fort, 83m high only outcrop in the flat land said to be the oldest rock in the world, 230 crore years old. Drive to Thanjavur, check in at the hotel. Later, visit the Brihadeshwara Temple built by the great Chola king in the 10th century. Also visit Thanjavur Palace & Museum.

Day 5 Thanjavur - Pondicherry (180kms)
Drive to Pondicherry. En route, visit Darasuram Airavateshwarar temple, a storehouse of art and architecture. Gangaikonda Cholapuram is, temple complex which includes Nandi Mandapa, Alankar Mandapa, Maha Mandapa, Mukha Mandapa and Ardha Mandapa. Continue driving and visit the Chidambaram Nataraja Temple, dedicated to the dancing posture of Lord Shiva. Arrive at Pondicherry, check in at the hotel.

Day 6 Pondicherry - Chennai (160kms)
Visit Auroville & Pondicherry Museum. Drive past or walk through stunning French Quarters, charming mustard streets and colonial villas which include the French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches & French schools. Later, drive to Chennai en route stop at Mahabalipuram to visit Monolithic Temples, Five Rathas, Krishna Butterball, Cave Temples, Shore Temple & The Arjuna Penance. Continue driving to Chennai and drop off at the airport.
