Discover the architectural and spiritual heritage of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh on a private 7-day journey from Ahmedabad to Indore. Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After freshening up, begin exploring the cultural heritage of Ahmedabad.
Visit Sabarmati Ashram, associated with Mahatma Gandhi and India’s freedom movement. Continue to Jama Masjid and admire its Indo-Islamic architectural character, followed by Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, renowned for its intricate stone latticework.
Later, explore local markets and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Ahmedabad.

Day 2: Ahmedabad – Architectural HeritageAfter breakfast, begin an excursion to some of Gujarat’s most distinctive architectural landmarks.
Visit Adalaj Stepwell, known for its detailed carvings and historic significance. Continue to Modhera Sun Temple, an 11th-century architectural masterpiece dedicated to the Sun God.
Proceed to Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its elaborate sculptures and remarkable stepwell engineering. Continue to Panchasara Jain Temple, known for its peaceful setting and artistic craftsmanship.
Return to Ahmedabad after sightseeing.

Day 3: Ahmedabad – KevadiaDrive: Approx. 200 km | 4 hrs
After breakfast, drive towards Kevadia. En route, visit Vadodara and explore the magnificent Lakshmi Vilas Palace, reflecting the grandeur of the region’s royal heritage.
Continue to Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO site featuring historic architecture, mosques and fortifications.
Proceed to Kevadia and check in at your hotel. In the evening, witness the Light & Sound Show at the Statue of Unity, presenting the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Day 4: Kevadia – MaheshwarDrive: Approx. 265 km | 6 hrs
After breakfast, visit the Statue of Unity and explore the Valley of Flowers and Sardar Sarovar Dam viewpoint. Enjoy the surrounding views and the setting of this major landmark.
Later, drive to Maheshwar, a historic town situated on the banks of the Narmada River.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Maheshwar Fort and stroll along the ghats, experiencing the town’s spiritual atmosphere and riverside setting.

Day 5: Maheshwar – Mandu ExcursionDrive: Approx. 90 km round trip
After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Mandu, known for its historic ruins and Afghan-influenced architecture.
Visit Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal and Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, each reflecting the architectural legacy of Mandu. Continue to Roopmati Pavilion, offering views across the surrounding landscape and Narmada Valley.
Explore the ancient palaces and fortifications surrounded by the natural beauty of the plateau before returning to Maheshwar.
Enjoy a peaceful evening by the Narmada River.

Day 6: Maheshwar – Omkareshwar – IndoreDrive: Approx. 145 km | 3–4 hrs
After breakfast, drive towards Indore with an en route visit to Omkareshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
Explore the temple situated on an island in the Narmada River and experience the spiritual significance of this important pilgrimage centre.
Continue to Indore and check in at your hotel. Later, visit Lal Bagh Palace Museum, known for its royal collections and architectural character.
Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 7: Indore – Ujjain – DepartureDrive: Approx. 60 km one way
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Ujjain, one of India’s ancient sacred cities.
Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple, a revered Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Kal Bhairav Temple and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the city.
Later, drive back to Indore and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
