Agra, known for the iconic the Taj Mahal, is a popular tourist destination in India. Travelling to Agra by train is a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the city. Here's a guide to planning an Agra tour by train.

Pick up from the hotel and drop off at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

Our Chauffeur will come to your preferred location, i.e. any hotel or airport in and around Delhi, to pick you up & then drive to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to catch the superfast train to Agra. Our chauffeur will ensure you are seated in your pre-booked seat on the coach. You will be provided a train ticket either by email or through our representative. The train will depart at 08:10 am. Breakfast will be served on the train.

Note: Do carry a valid ID proof along with you when you sit in the train. ID proof could be a Passport copy, a driving license, etc.

The train arrives at Agra Cantonment Railway Station around 09:50 am

Upon your arrival at Agra Cantonment Station, where the Tour Guide and Chauffeur would be waiting to receive you in front of the exit of the railway station (Agra Cantonment) with your name board and then take you to the magnificent monument of love and one of the 07 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. The monument holds a beautiful & romantic story of love and affection of the Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, which was erected in the 17th century.

Note: the Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday for tourists.

Explore Agra Fort

After seeing the Taj Mahal, the next place to visit is the Agra Fort. It is believed to be one of the most beautiful & well-preserved citadels of India. In this fort, you can witness the grandeur, pomp and opulence of the palaces in red sandstone and white marble. The structure holds a brief & grand history of not just the Emperor Shah Jahan but also his grandfather, Emperor Akbar the Great. This fort was built in the 16th & 17th centuries.

After seeing The Taj Mahal & Agra Fort, there will be a stop at one of the finest five-star hotels serving the authentic & mouth-watering dishes of this city.

Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah or Baby TajIt is a beautiful mausoleum which was erected in the 17th century by Empress Nurjahan as a mark of respect to her father Mirza Ghyas Beg, who was the Chief Minister in the court of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This is the first Mughal Mausoleum, which is entirely built out of white marble. The exquisite tomb of Mizra Ghyas Beg should not be missed.

Driven back to Agra Cantt Railway Station

After spending a couple of hours in Agra & seeing the exquisite sights, you will be driven back to Agra Cantonment railway station to board the train Gatimaan Express, back to Delhi. Our chauffeur will make sure you sit in your pre-booked seat in the coach. The Train leaves from Agra Cantt Railway Station at 5:50 pm. Dinner will be served on the train.

The train reaches Hazrat Nizamudin Railway Station, Delhi.

The train will reach Delhi around 7:30 pm, and Our Chauffeur will be waiting in front of the exit of the Railway Station, Delhi with your name board to pick you up and then drop you off at your desired location for your onward journey.
