Experience the wild heart of Uganda on this thrilling 3-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park, the country's largest and most spectacular wildlife reserve. Journey north from Kampala with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rare on-foot encounter with Uganda's only southern white rhinos. Explore the park's vast savannah on game drives spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards, before cruising the Victoria Nile to the thundering base of Murchison Falls, where the entire force of the River Nile surges through a dramatic 7-metre gorge. Along the river, encounter hippos, Nile crocodiles, and the iconic shoebill stork in one of Africa's most rewarding wildlife destinations.

Day 1: Kampala / Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning and head north towards Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on-foot rhino trek — the only place in Uganda where you can encounter the endangered southern white rhino in the wild. After spending time with these magnificent giants, continue the drive into the park, cross the River Nile by ferry at Paraa, and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise to the Falls

Rise early for a morning game drive across the park's vast savannah plains, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kob, and Jackson's hartebeest. After lunch at the lodge, board a boat for an afternoon cruise along the Victoria Nile to the thundering base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants on the riverbanks, and the legendary shoebill stork along the way. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Enjoy one final early morning game drive through the northern sector of the park at dawn before returning to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Board the Paraa ferry and begin the scenic drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving by early evening at the end of an unforgettable Ugandan safari adventure.
