6 Days, 5 Nights Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari 6 days

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli (240 km – Approx. 4hrs)

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner

Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi area hotel, Nairobi airport or Nairobi area residence. We’ll head out in our private 4 x 4 Jeep for Amboseli National Park on the Nairobi – Mombasa Highway

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha – (340 km: Approx. 6 hrs)

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Proceed to Lake Naivasha at the foot of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch

Afternoon boat safari at Lake Naivasha, where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.

Later, proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.

Days 3: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru: (70km: 2 hr)

(We may visit Lake Bogoria instead if you are keener on flamingo viewing)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

We shall hire bikes and cycle to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game.

Later, a short 1-hour drive will take us to the Lake Nakuru National Park.

Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their thousands, together with pelicans and other bird species.

Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the black and white rhino, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara:(300 km: 6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the Lake Nakuru National Park.

Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve.

Arrive at Masai Mara and proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive

Day 5: Full Day – Masai Mara

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world.

It is home to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

We shall visit the Mara River, where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).

Day 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi (265km – Approx. 5hrs)

Meal plan: Breakfast.

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colourful capital city.

On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano, which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s, and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “.

You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.
