4 Days Samburu And Aberdare National Park Safari Package 4 days

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

On this day, you will be met by our guide/driver in Nairobi who will brief you on your safari. Afterwards, you will depart Nairobi for a scenic drive to the North through the scenic Mount Kenya highlands to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch. Relax then enjoy an afternoon game drive within the reserve.

Return to your lodge/tented camp for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Explore Samburu National Reserve

Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drive within the reserve. Samburu is home to the rare northern special five species (Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx) Captivating Samburu elephant herds saunter over this game-rich reserve and big cats prowl through thick acacia forest. The reserve also has numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopards, hippos, elephants, lions and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. You will have a break for your picnic lunch in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view of the park. After this, you will go back to the hotel for a few hours of relaxation as you enjoy the hotel facilities before embarking on the afternoon game drives. During your stay, you also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Samburu people to witness their culture which is an exceptional experience.

Day 3: Samburu - Aberdare National Park

Early morning drive followed by a delicious breakfast before departing for a leisurely drive to the Aberdare National Park where you will be then transferred to The Ark Lodge. It would help if you had a small overnight bag for your essentials of the night at The Ark Lodge, the rest of the luggage will be left in safe custody at the Aberdare Country Club. You will be watching wildlife from the lodge balcony and underground bunkers. Occasionally you will receive alarms at night from your room when special animals come to the floodlit water-hole.

Enjoy dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.

Day 4: Depart for Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and check out. You will enjoy a drive through the forest as you head back to the Aberdare Country Club and later depart for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon.
