El Valle de Anton is a cool climate valley lying on the largest dormant volcano in Central America locted 1.5 hours from the city of Panama. This tour is a combination of exciting activities. You will visit La Pintada, a pre-colombian mysterious petroglyph, trek and climb El Macho, a beautiful natural waterfall, the Nispero Gardens and Zoo (Home of the rare “golden frog” and exotic birds), La Casa de Lourdes, where the garden views are spectacular and the food outstanding. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a bathing on hot springs & waterfalls and visit to the Artisan Market, where attractive indian crafts are noticeably cheaper than in the city.
In the morning at 8:00am your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the Anton valley about 90 minutes from Panama City. The Anton Valley is a small town based on the Crater of a sleepy volcano. Nature, wildlife and fresh breeze surround the quite town of farmers and planters. You will visit the stunning cloud forest waterfall El Macho and take a swim on the fresh waters of the natural pool, visit the Hot Springs and take a Mud bath to give some energy and minerals to your body and visit the local market where you will find beautiful Indian craft. Fresh and delicious fruits & vegetables and traditional hats of Panama. Visiting the Nispero Zoo of rescued animals at the zoo you will see lots of different species of birds, mammals and reptiles as well as the frogs farm where you will have the chance to see the great golden frog or go visit the butterflies nursery and learn about this amazing beauty of nature. In the afternoon your guide will take you back to your hotel.
