Into The White: A Snowshoe Exploration 5 hours

Join us on a guided snowshoeing tour, where the beauty and tranquillity of the winter landscape will take your breath away. Our experienced guide will lead you on a journey through rolling hills and snow-covered forests, sharing their knowledge and expertise of the local flora and fauna.

On a crisp winter morning, your guide will come and pick you up from your accommodation in Brasov, and you will be going to Plaiul Foii, a magical place at the feet of Piatra Craiului's mountains.

That's the starting and ending point of your trip. You get out of the car, take a deep breath and start your journey up the mountains! As you go forward to explore the hidden beauties of Piatra Craiului. As you snowshoe along, you'll be treated to stunning views of pristine landscapes and wildlife in their winter habitat. With each step, the rhythmic sound of snowshoes crunching in the snow will lull you into a state of peacefulness and relaxation. You will arrive at Spirlea wild hut, where you are going to serve lunch head back to eat some delicious traditional lunch at the hut. (not included)

We are going to relax by the old rustic chimney, have some tea, or, why not, a sip of palinca and share some stories with the other travellers!

When you feel like you are warm enough, you are going outside with the guide and learn some fun and exciting winter skills such as: testing the snow to prevent an avalanche, properly using the winter gear, lighting up a fire in the snow ... and yes, you can do some snow angels as well! :)

After the fun training, you will say goodbye to your fellow travellers at the hut and go back with the group to your car. You will be taken safely back to your accommodation, have a big group hug and promise to share photos and visit again!
