Another hidden paradise where you can explore with us, Gili Rengit and Gili Layar, a very private island. Our activity is snorkeling and exploring the island, you will find many corals and many fish.
This morning after the breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel on Lombok Island around 9:00 (from Senggigi). Drive to south of Lombok precisely Gili Layar harbor in Sekotong called Tawun Harbor. Here a boat will be waiting to take you across the crystaline waters to more remote islands. Put on your life jacket and sail to Gili Layar by out outrigger boat.
Blue ocean and clear water will welcome you on your way to Gili Layar. Arrive at Gili Layar and it will fascinate you by beautiful scenery, pure weather, white sand and serenity of the little island. Very few people visit this Gili which makes it calm and quiet and suitable for relax at the seashore. There is no public facility on the island, only one inn for sleeping and relaxing.
Nice white sandy beaches and palm trees and even more stunning scenery can be found under water where a colorful sea garden and bountiful marine life fill the seas which makes it a great place for snorkelling. Midday, take a break from island exploring and we make a short boat ride to the Gili Rengit where we have lunch of grilled fish prepared by the boatman crew on the beach a few meters away from the gently rippling sea. Spread your towel on the sand and relax a bit or go for a stroll along the quiet beach.
Gili Rengit is also known as mysterious island, it is abandoned by people. Until today, this island is still empty, altough has very potential for living due to it’s fertile soil, permanent harbor and also it has a mini bar and restaurant.
Return to Lombok from Gili Rengit, where the car will be waiting for you at the port. There is possibility to take fresh water shower to rinse the salt before driving back to the hotel.
