The western coast of India is located between Kerala and Gujarat and extends from the Arabian Sea to the Western Ghats. Its total length is 1400 km, width ranges from 10 km to 80 km, and the elevation ranges from 150 m to 300 m above sea level. It is characterized by sandy beaches, mud-flats, sand-dunes, alluvial tracts, estuaries, lagoons, residual hills and more. It lacks deltas as the short and swift rivers are not able to make deltas in this coast.
Day 1 Mumbai

Morning excursion to Elephant caves (Monday closed). Later visit CST, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan & Dhobhi Ghat.

Optional excursion to Kankeshwar Temple a fine example of Hoysala style of architecture. One has to climb 750 steps to reach the temple. Rest time free to relax & hopp on the beaches.

Day 5 Alibaug - Ratnagiri (300kms)
Drive to Ratnagiri via visiting Murud-Janjira Fort located on a cliff overlooking the sea. On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 6 Ratnagiri - Goa (295kms)
Visit Thibaw Palace a three-storeyed brick & teakwood palace. Drive to Goa enroute visit Sindhudurg Fort. Arrive Goa check in at hotel.

Visit Old Goa Churches, Aguada Fort, Portuguese lighthouse, Mangueshi & Shanta Durga Temple & Margao town. Drive Pass charming beaches of Calangute, Dona Paula, Miramar & Baga.
