Discover Karnataka’s architectural heritage on a journey from Bangalore to Hampi and Badami, exploring Chitradurga Fort, Vijayanagara monuments, Aihole, Pattadakal and Badami’s cave temples before departing from Hubli.
Upon arrival in Bangalore, meet your representative and begin the drive to Hampi. En route, visit Chitradurga Fort, a massive hill fort known for its impressive fortifications and panoramic views. Continue through the scenic countryside of Karnataka to Hampi. After arrival, check in at your hotel and relax following the long journey. The evening is free to explore the surroundings or enjoy the peaceful setting.

Day 2: Hampi SightseeingAfter breakfast, explore Hampi, once the magnificent capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Visit Virupaksha Temple and Hazara Rama Temple, known for their historic architecture and detailed carvings. Explore the Royal Enclosures, including Mahanavami Dibba and ancient palace foundations. Continue to the Ugra Narasimha statue and Vithala Temple, famous for its stone chariot and musical pillars. Visit Lotus Mahal and Queen’s Bath, reflecting Indo-Islamic architectural influences.

Day 3: Hampi – Badami | Approx. 190 km / 5 hrsAfter breakfast, check out and drive to Badami. En route, visit Anagundi village, known for its ancient temples and traditional lifestyle. Enjoy a coracle ride on the Tungabhadra River, offering views of the surrounding landscape. Continue through the countryside to Badami, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Badami – Aihole – Pattadakal – BadamiAfter breakfast, begin a full-day heritage excursion. Drive to Aihole, known as the cradle of Indian temple architecture, and explore its ancient temples. Continue to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing early Chalukyan architecture and beautifully carved temples. Return to Badami to explore the famous cave temples carved into sandstone cliffs. Visit Badami Fort for panoramic views and conclude at Agastya Lake, surrounded by temples and hills.

Day 5: Badami – Hubli | Approx. 110 km / 3 hrsAfter breakfast, check out and drive to Hubli through the scenic Karnataka countryside. Upon arrival, transfer to Hubli Airport for your onward journey. Your tour concludes after exploring the region’s historic monuments, temple architecture and cultural heritage.
