Discover Dibrugarh’s lively traditions, visit heritage sites in Itanagar, and head into Kaziranga National Park for an unforgettable safari. Continue to historic Tezpur, then conclude in Guwahati among sacred temples and vibrant cultural landmarks.
Upon arrival at Dibrugarh Airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Begin exploring Dibrugarh, known as the Tea City of India, with a visit to Jokai Botanical Garden. Walk through its lush surroundings and observe the plant life and bird species. Later, explore local markets where you can browse tea products, handicrafts and local souvenirs. Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

Day 2: Dibrugarh – ItanagarAfter breakfast, visit Radha Krishna Mandir, known for its spiritual atmosphere and architecture. Later, drive approximately 190 km / 5–6 hrs to Itanagar through scenic countryside and hilly terrain. Enjoy views of rivers, forests and rural landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. The evening is at leisure, with an opportunity to explore nearby local markets.

Day 3: Itanagar SightseeingAfter breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Itanagar. Visit Itanagar Fort and explore a nearby museum showcasing artefacts connected with tribal culture and regional history. Continue to Ganga Lake (Gyakar Sinyi), surrounded by lush forest, and enjoy a peaceful boat ride. Later, visit a local Buddhist monastery to experience its spiritual atmosphere and traditional practices.

Day 4: Itanagar – Kaziranga National ParkAfter breakfast, check out and drive approximately 200 km / 5 hrs to Kaziranga National Park. En route, stop in Tezpur to visit Agnigarh Fort, offering views towards the Brahmaputra River, followed by Bamuni Hills and its ancient ruins and sculptures. Continue towards Kaziranga through scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the wildlife resort and relax.

Day 5: Kaziranga National Park SafarisBegin with an early morning wildlife safari in Kaziranga National Park accompanied by a forest guide. Explore the eastern range, known for its biodiversity and opportunities to observe the one-horned rhinoceros. Return to the hotel for breakfast and leisure time. In the afternoon, proceed for another safari in the western range, where you may encounter elephants, deer, wild buffalo and bird species.

Day 6: Kaziranga – GuwahatiAfter breakfast, proceed for a final safari in the central range of Kaziranga, with opportunities to observe wildlife and water birds. Later, check out and drive approximately 200 km / 5 hrs to Guwahati. Enjoy views of Assam’s countryside during the journey. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the Brahmaputra River or explore local markets.

Day 7: Guwahati – DepartureAfter breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple and explore its temple complex and local traditions. Continue with a boat ride to Umananda Temple on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. Visit Assam State Museum to learn about the region’s culture and history, followed by Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural centre showcasing Assam’s art and traditions. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
