Assam Tea Estate, Monasteries & National Park Tour will begin with your arrival in Dibrugarh. Here you will visit the tea estate, Buddhist Monasteries and Ahom regime monuments. Drive to Itanagar, set in the foothills of the Himalayas, surrounded by forests, orchids and ferns, the city is home to medieval Ita Fort. Further drive to Kaziranga via visiting Tezpur, the historical town known for its ancient temples and ruins. Embark on a safari in Kaziranga National Park, spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River. Its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses.
Day 1 Arrive Dibrugarh (by flight)
On arrival at Dibrugarh airport, transfer to the hotel, check in. Later visit Jokai Botanical Garden, Shrikshetra Dhaam, Lord Jagannath Temple, Koli Aai Thaan, Sarumechlow and Bormechow Maidam, Dehing Satra ruins & Buddhist Monastery at Namphake Village. O/n at the hotel. Meal plan: L, D.
Day 2 Dibrugarh - Itanagar (190kms)
Sightseeing in Dibrugarh, if not completed on the 1st day. Thenafter drive to Itanagar, check in at the hotel. Rest time is free and easy to relax.O/n at the hotel. Meal plan: B, L, D.
Day 3 Itanagar
Full day to visit Itanagar, the capital of the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, the city is home to medieval Ita Fort, the yellow-roofed Gompa Buddhist Temple, and the Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, which exhibits textiles and handicrafts. West of town is Geker Sinying, also known as Ganga Lake, surrounded by forests, orchids and ferns.O/n at the hotel. Meal plan: B, L, D.
Day 4 Itanagar - Kaziranga National Park (200kms)
Drive to Kaziranga via visiting Tezpur, the historical town known for its ancient temples and ruins, including Agnigarh Fort & Bamuni Hills. Continue driving to Kaziranga National Park, and check in at the hotel. Rest time is free to relax. O/n at the resort. Meal plan: B, L, D.
Day 5 Kaziranga National Park
Gypsy safari in the Kaziranga National Park. Morning explore Eastern Range, then in the afternoon Western Range is preferred for seeing big game like Rhinos, Tigers and Water Buffaloes. O/n at the hotel. Meal plan: B, L, D.
Day 6 Kaziranga - Guwahati (200kms)
Early morning, explore the central Range, good for water birds. Drive to Guwahati, check in at the resort. In the evening, enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River on a cruise. O/n at the hotel. Meal plan: B, L, D.
Day 7 Guwahati - Departure
Visit Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Island & Umananda Temple. Later, transfer to Guwahati airport to board the departure flight. Meal plan: B
