5-day Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) And Chobe National Park (Botswana) Tour 5 days

DAY 1 Victoria Falls - Sunset Cruise - Boma Dinner

Our drive/guide will meet and transfer you to the Elephant Hills Hotel (4 stars) in Victoria Falls - 21km and only 15 to 20 minutes of safe driving. Relax for a few hours after check-in before partaking in our Sunset Boat Cruise on the mighty Zambezi River with lots of drinks and snacks (all complimentary) just to get you to settle down after the long flight. This is a two hour long trip starting at about 16:00 hours and ending at 18:00hrs, return transfers are included.

Dinner will be at the award winning Boma Restaurant with loads of traditional entertainment - traditional dancing, fortune telling, and drumming shows. Return transfers are included too.

Overnight at the Elephant Hills Resort with breakfast.

DAY 2 Victoria Falls - African Village - Optional Tours

Your guide will meet you at 08:00hrs for the guided tour of the Victoria Falls. This is a two hour trip which will take you to the falls via the big Baobab tree and ends at the open curio market after the falls tour.

At 11:00 hours we will pick you up for the African Village tour, again a two hours trip that will take you to a real and working African Village where you will get to meet the locals in their daily dance for survival. They will be happy to show you around their homes, even to sample their meals and please feel free to ask as many questions as possible.

You will be in town at around 13:00hrs in time for lunch, and you will have the rest of the afternoon free for optional tours or just to relax by the pool and have a few drinks.

Optional Tours: adrenaline activities at the Zambezi River gorges, helicopter flights over the falls, canoeing on the Zambezi River, night game drives with bush dinner.

Own dinner arrangements and overnight at the Elephant Hills with breakfast.

DAY 3 Chobe National Park (Botswana)

On this day you will be collected from your hotel at 07:30 hours for the full day safari in the Chobe National Park in Botswana. You do not have to wait until we cross the border into Botswana to start enjoying the game viewing as we will be driving though the Zambezi National Park for 70 km to the Botswana border.

Our safari starts with a Game Boat Cruise on the Chobe River. This will be three hours of game viewing from the boat. You will have a buffet lunch at the four star Chobe Safari Lodge. After lunch it will be time to take to the Chobe National Park in custom made 4x4 safari vehicles for the three hour afternoon game drive. We will visit the upper Chobe River part that is not accessible by boats. This is where we get to see the shy predators (lions, hyena, cheetah and sometimes leopards) and at times on their kills.

We will leave the park at about 16:30hrs for the drive back to Victoria Falls in comfortable air conditioned mini buses.

DAY 4 Livingstone (Zambia) - Optional Tours

This is your free day for Victoria Falls optional tours and shopping and these include a visit to the Zambia town of Livingstone.

Devils Pool swimming night game drives with bush dinner, white water rafting, canoeing on the upper Zambezi above the falls and many more. Own dinner arrangements and overnight at the Elephant Hills Resort with breakfast.

DAY 5 Optional Tours - Departure

Free in the morning for optional tours like canoeing on the Zambezi River, horse riding in the Zambezi National Park, bungee jumping, and gorge swing on the Zambezi Gorges.

You will be transferred to the VFA and transfer times will depend on your flight schedule.
