Enjoy the expedition of a lifetime on an open-sided full day private Kruger Game Drive! Go on to explore the park on the lookout for lions or majestic herds of elephants. Pick-up and drop-off is from Nelspruit, White River, Hazyview, inside Kruger Park or one of the entrance gates of Kruger Park. The vehicles we use are open safari vehicles, however they do have roofs for shade.
You will be collected at your accommodation in the early morning around 5:30 am (or any time you choose) and you will return at about 18:00 pm after the safari. Game opening and closing times vary according to season and the game ranger needs to exit the park before this time.
Our office will confirm a pick-up time the day before.
The guide will stop for breakfast and lunch on your own account. During the safari, rest camp restaurants have a great variety of meals to choose from. We advise the group to buy take-out meals, as eating out in South Africa is seen as a special activity and may take some time. It is also a standard practice to tip 10% al least of the bill total.
No tip is expected for the game drive, this is a matter of your own courtesy.
We enter the Kruger National Park once the gates are open then go on to explore the Park on the lookout for lions, majestic herds of elephants, a solitary leopard lying in a shady tree, the amazing rhino, and herds of buffalo, as well as a multitude of other wild animals and birds, like hornbills, eagles, hippo, zebra, giraffe, not forgetting the abundance of buck, like impala and kudu.
Our guides are all qualified and have years’ worth of experience in the park. They love nothing more than to share their knowledge with our guests and to make sure that you have the best safari experience possible.
The vehicles we use are open safari vehicles, however they do have roofs for shade. Remember your mosquito repellent (preferably apply before the drive as some passengers might get an itchy nose if you join a shared game drive), please take your antihistamine medication as well as malaria prophylaxis (although the risk of malaria is low, we do recommend taking precaution).
Summers months can get very hot and also wet all on the same day. Winters can be cool on the open vehicle, so it is advised that you wear a beanie, long trousers, warm jacket and gloves. Be sure to layer, as it can get warmer during the day.
Water will be included on the vehicle, although the driver will stop at restrooms and shops for meal purchases as part of the tour (at your own expense).

We had such a brilliant game drive. What a wonderful day. We saw loads of game and even a far off sighting of 2 leopards and some lions on a river bank. Abri was a fantastic tour guide, with lots of interesting knowledge about the animals, vegetation and birds. He was a great driver too, safe and professional. The blankets and hot water bottles were a lovely treat in the cold early morning, as was the cool bottled water in the hot afternoon. It was also by far the most reasonably priced quote we got for a 6 people for a full day private game drive. Our only complaint was the day was over too quickly. What a wonderful experience. We will definitely recommend you to any friends coming up this way.

Visited Kruger Park for the first time. The quality of service started with the prompt responses at planning stage during and after the booking. Went on a private game drive with family and friends. Aubrey, our guide, had an excellent understanding of the park and animals. Kept the drive route flexible based on information received on sightings while the drive progressed. Saw BIG 5 and cheetah and much more. The magic of Kruger park was brought out during the day drive. Came out of park exceeding expectations by far. Kruger Park Tours is simply the BEST.
