6 Days/ 5 Nights Kenya Safari is a fabulous itinerary and offers the perfect way to see some of Kenya’s best game-filled locations and also gives a good insight into the culture and way of life of the local people.
The itinerary visits Samburu Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara.
Day 1 Nairobi - Samburu Shaba Game Reserve
After breakfast you will depart for Samburu. Arrive at Ashnil in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing then evening game drive at 4pm until 6pm. Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, Gravy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Gerenuks, buffaloes, Onyx, gazelles, Dik-dik and waterbucks. Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 2 Samburu Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at 8.00 am leave for a full morning game drive to see rhino and flamingos. After breakfast depart with a game drive en-route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon, conduct a game drive. The lake is famous for flamingos as well as over 400 other species of birds. In addition, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at Punda Mila Camp or equivalent.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast check out then proceed for a game drive en-route Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Simba Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for a boat ride in Lake Naivasha, you will also have an opportunity to visit Crescent Island. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Lake Naivasha- Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara. You will arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at Burch Resort or equivalent, which will be followed by an afternoon game drive till evening.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve, now the New 7th wonder of the world and 4th most preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Olodare Mara camp or equivalent.
Day 5 Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart with packed picnic lunch for a full day’s game drive. In the evening you will be transferred back to Mara Sopa for dinner and overnight.
All meals and overnight at Olodare Mara Camp.
Day 6 Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Nairobi with a morning game drive. Arrive late afternoon and transferred back to your place of residence within Nairobi.
