Day 1: Addis Ababa – Bale Mountains (Dinsho Headquarters)
Drive from Addis Ababa to Bale Mountains National Park via scenic highlands. Arrive at Dinsho, the park headquarters, for a short hike. Spot endemic wildlife such as Menelik’s bushbuck and warthogs. Overnight in Dinsho or a nearby lodge.
Day 2: Dinsho – Sanetti Plateau – Harenna Forest
Early morning drive to the Sanetti Plateau, one of the highest roads in Africa. Search for the rare Ethiopian wolf and enjoy panoramic views. Continue descending into the lush Harenna Forest, known for its giant trees and unique ecosystem. Overnight in the Harenna area.
Day 3: Explore Harenna Forest & Return to Goba
Morning walk in Harenna Forest to spot birds, monkeys, and possibly wild coffee plants. Visit local villages and experience the culture of the region. Later, drive back through the mountains to Goba town for the overnight.
Day 4: Goba – Addis Ababa
After breakfast, drive back to Addis Ababa. Enjoy scenic stops along the way and arrive in the afternoon. End of tour.
