Day 01: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Mai Hich Village – Homestay (L, D)

Our guide and private driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 08:00. Depart for Mai Chau on a scenic 3-hour drive through beautiful countryside landscapes.

Stop at Thung Khe Pass (White Rock Pass) to admire breathtaking mountain views and the peaceful valley below.

Arrive at Mai Hich Village and enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a local homestay.

Afternoon (14:00 – 17:00)

Set out on a leisure cycling trip along quiet village paths, passing through rice paddies surrounded by limestone mountains.

Visit local homes to explore the daily life, traditions, and cultural identity of the White Thai ethnic community.

Enjoy authentic interactions and immerse yourself in the peaceful rural atmosphere.

Evening (18:30 – 21:00)

Enjoy a delicious dinner at the homestay with local specialities.

Free time to relax and experience the tranquil life of the village.

Day 02 :Mai Hich – Pu Luong Nature Reserve

• 09:00: Leave Mai Hich for Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

• Stop along the way to visit ethnic minority villages and enjoy the beautiful rural landscapes.

• Lunch at a local restaurant en route or upon arrival.

Afternoon

• Check in at your accommodation in Pu Luong and take a short rest.

• Begin an easy afternoon walk along narrow village roads through terraced rice fields and sugarcane farms.

• Cross hanging bridges and visit remote Thai villages for a closer look at local life.

• Stop at the famous giant water wheels and duck farms to learn more about traditional agriculture in the region.

Evening

• Dinner and overnight in Pu Luong.

Day 03: Pu Luong Trekking – Kho Muong Village – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc

• 08:00: Start a soft trekking experience through terraced fields, small village paths and streams to reach remote hamlets of the Black Thai ethnic community.

• Continue to Kho Muong Village and explore Doi Cave (Bat Cave), the largest cave in Pu Luong, subject to weather conditions.

• Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty of Pu Luong and warm encounters with local villagers.

• Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

• 13:00: Depart Pu Luong for Ninh Binh – Tam Coc.

• Stop on the way for short breaks and photos of the countryside.

• Arrive in Tam Coc around 16:00 and check in at your accommodation.

Late Afternoon

• Take a relaxing bike ride to Bich Dong Pagoda, a beautiful complex of ancient pagodas built into the mountainside.

• Climb to the upper pagoda for wonderful views over the surrounding landscape.

• Return to Tam Coc and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at sunset.

Evening

• Dinner and overnight in Tam Coc Bungalow.

Day 04:Tam Coc Boat Trip – Mua Cave – Hoa Lu – Hanoi

Morning

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• 08:30: Begin your full-day exploration of Ninh Binh.

• Take a traditional sampan boat trip in Tam Coc, gliding along winding waterways through rice fields, limestone mountains and three natural caves.

• This peaceful landscape is often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.”

Late Morning

• After the boat trip, continue by bicycle through local villages and farmland to experience the authentic rhythm of rural life in Ninh Binh.

• Visit Mua Cave and hike up to the viewpoint for a breathtaking panoramic view over Tam Coc, Trang An and Hoa Lu.

Afternoon

• Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the political centre of Vietnam from 968 to 1010.

• Explore the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, and learn more about the early foundations of Dai Viet.

• Drive back to Hanoi.

Evening

• Arrive in Hanoi at around 17:00.

• Drop off at your hotel. End of tour.
