Enjoy a 4-day tour to Sri Lanka and head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, set up especially for abandoned or injured baby elephants. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Move to Sigiriya and climb the Rock Fortress built by King Kasyapa the Patricide (473-491), who was considered a god-king.
Day 1 Colombo Airport - Pinnawala - Sigiriya
Our representative will meet you at the Bandaranaike International Airport and take you to your hotel in Sigiriya En-route visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage. This elephant Orphanage is set up especially for abandoned or injured baby elephants. In the evening, you will go on an Elephant back ride near the Sigiriya Lion’s Rock. At the end of the ride, you will return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 2 Sigiriya - Dambulla - Kandy
After breakfast, you will visit Sigiriya and climb the Rock Fortress built by King Kasyapa the Patricide (473-491) who was considered a god-king. Having climbed the rock, you will encounter the remains of the palace and its environs and see the famous frescoes. En route to Kandy, you will visit the Dambulla rock cave temple and stop at a spice garden at Matale. In Kandy, you will witness cultural dance performances. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Day 3 Kandy - Negombo
After breakfast, a city tour of Kandy which includes Kandy Temple, Royal Botanical Garden, traditional batik making factory, shopping complexes, etc., then proceeds to Negombo. Overnight stay in Negombo. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Negambo.
Day 4 Negombo - Colombo - Airport
After breakfast, Leisure in Negombo beach or a tour of Colombo which includes busy bazaar area, Kovils, temples, Independence square, BMICH, etc.., then according to the flight schedule transfer to the airport for the departure.
