Your tour begins with a walk through the former business district in Yangon where you can admire many of the remaining colonial buildings. Stroll past lots of deliciously smelling food stalls and get a glimpse of the variety of Burmese cuisine. Quickly you will notice the multicultural influences, which are reflected not only in the architecture but also in several dishes.
After your walk, you visit the so-called "Secretariat", former administrative center while Myanmar was under British rule.
After a tour, drive to Bogyoke Aung San Market. The market offers a variety of local souvenirs, jewelry and more and is especially very popular among locals.
In the afternoon, visit the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htet Gyi, a significant place for Buddhists.
The last stop is the highlight of every visit in Yangon: the splendid Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most important religious sites in Myanmar, has become a popular pilgrimage site for Buddhists from all over the world in recent years.
