Day 1 – Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Airport pickup, hotel transfer and welcome dinner. Introduction to Mongolian culture./Chinggis khaan museum, gandan monastery/
Day 2 – Fly to Ulgii
Domestic flight to Bayan-Ulgii province. Explore Ulgii town and discover local Kazakh culture.
Day 3 – Kazakh Nomadic Lifestyle
Visit a traditional Kazakh family, experience their hospitality, taste local dishes and learn about the ancient tradition of eagle hunting.
Day 4 – Golden Eagle Festival: Day One
Attend the opening ceremony, watch the parade of eagle hunters in traditional costumes, and enjoy eagle, horse and traditional costume competitions.
Day 5 – Golden Eagle Festival: Day Two
Witness spectacular eagle hunting demonstrations, traditional horseback games, cultural performances and the festival closing ceremony.
Day 6 – Meet the Eagle Hunters
Spend time with a local eagle hunter and learn more about the relationship between the hunter and his golden eagle. Enjoy photography opportunities and local cultural experiences.
Day 7 – Return to Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Free time for shopping and exploring the capital.
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to the international airport for departure.
End of the tour.
