Private pick up from your hotel in Aqaba and transfer to Visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra (Local English Speaking Guide included up to Qaser Al Bent), one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through the 1KM long narrow canyon then reach the Treasury. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and collonaded streets with time free to discover more.
Our tour representative (the driver) will meet you at your hotel in Aqaba (ETA 7:00 Am), welcome you and start driving towards the rose-red city of Petra, passing through a vast and comfortable highway named the Desert Way, following through a scenic route on the mountain side well known as kings way.
The biggest attraction of Jordan is Petra (ETA 9:30 AM) Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria.
Upon arrival, you will begin the trip with a local English-speaking guide from the visitors centre all the way to navigate the city from the canyon called Siq to reach the famous façade of the Treasury, and among other monuments, you will see the Street of Facades, view of the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle, the theatre and the Roman collonaded street, then the guide mission ends there where you will have time free to do more exploration like climbing the 800 steps to visit the Monastery, after this you come back to exist the site, meet the driver again at the visitors centre to transfer you back to Aqaba.
