Our trip is specialized in exploring both the culture and nature.
See the Bull Race (Pacu Jawi), the dance performances and Pencak Silat performed by local people, cooking class (rendang) and Makan Bajamba at local people house, see Minang Village here.
The nature such as: Trekking trip in certain places like Harau Valley and get involved in local people activity in the rice field in planting rice and working together in local people garden and then afternoon coffee in the local people shop which is usually used by local people to interact each other in the afternoon and evening after work.
Day 1 : Padang – Bukittinggi
After breakfast we leave for Bukititnggi. We stop in Padang Panjang to visit Minangkabau Documentation and Information Center (PDIKM). After PDIKM we have lunch at local restaurant and continue our Tour to Bukittinggi. On the way we’ll stop and see the process of making Minang Pancake (Bika). check in Homestay, free program.
Day 2 : Bukittinggi – Harau - Batusangkar
After breakfast, we’ll leave for Harau. Then go to Pagaruyung Palace in Batusangkar, Pacu Jawi (Bull Race). Go back to Bukittinggi.
DAY 3 : Bukittinggi – Maninjau Lake - Bukittinggi
After breakfast we'll leave for Maninjau lake via Koto Gadang. See the process of making Brown Sugar by Traditional Way and see Maninjau Lake from Lawang Top. Go back to Bukittinggi.
DAY 4 : Bukittinggi - Airport
After breakfast we check out and sightseeing around Traditional Market “Pasar Bawah Bukittinggi”, Sianok Canyon. Lunch and go to the Airport. Tour ends.
