Day 1 Chennai - Pondicherry
Meet the local tour guide and drive from Chennai to Pondicherry.
Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest.
In the evening, take a stroll near the Auro Beach.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Pondicherry
After breakfast, visit Matri Mandir in the morning. One interesting fact about this temple is that it does not belong to any particular religion or sect.
After lunch, visit Paradise Beach and explore the surrounding areas till sunset.
In the evening, drive through the French Colony (white town) and go shopping for some local products.
Enjoy delicious dinner before heading back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 Pondicherry - Chennai
After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing and visit the Aurobindo Ashram.
Next, visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Cathedral Churches which are the oldest cathedrals in Pondicherry. They were built during the 18th century and has a Neo-Gothic style of architecture.
Later, drive back to Chennai.
