Your voyage to South India Temples will begin from the colonial port of Chennai. Explore the city and advance to visit Kanchipuram, the city of a thousand temples & Mahabalipuram. Further drive to Pondicherry, the French colonial town and visit Auroville. Continue to visit the UNESCO WHS of the Great Living Chola Temples at Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Darasuram & Thanjavur. See some largest active temples in India at Trichy and Madurai.
Day 1 Arrive Chennai
On arrival at Chennai Airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel (hotel check-in/out time: 12 pm). Later visit Fort St. George, St Mary's Church inside the fortress, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Government Museum, Dakshinachitra Museum, Santhome Cathedral & Marina Beach.

Day 2 Chennai - Mahabalipuram (120kms)
Drive to Mahabalipuram via visiting Kanchipuram Kailasanathar temple, Ekambareswarar temple, Varadharaja temple, Vaikundhaperumal temple & Kamakshiamman temple. Continue driving to Mahabalipuram, check in at the hotel. Later visit Monolithic Temples, Five Rathas, Krishnas Butterball, Cave Temples, Shore Temple & The Arjuna Penance.

Day 3 Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (120kms)
Drive to Pondicherry, check in at the hotel. Later, Visit Auroville & Pondicherry Museum. Drive past or walk through stunning French Quarters, charming mustard streets and colonial villas which include the French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches & French schools. Evening to relax on the beach.

Day 4 Pondicherry - Thanjavur (180kms)
Drive to Thanjavur via visiting Chidambaram Nataraja Temple and The Great Living Chola Temples at Gangaikonda Cholapuram & Darasuram. Arrive at Thanjavur, check in at the hotel.

Day 5 Thanjavur - Trichy (60kms)
Visit Brihadeshwara Temple & Palace Complex, built by a great Chola king in the 10th century. After sightseeing, drive to Trichy, check in at the hotel. Later visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rock Fort Temple & Jambukeshwara Temple.

Day 6 Trichy - Madurai (135kms)
Drive to Madurai, check in at the hotel. Later visit Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Alagar Koil, Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple & Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple.

Day 7 Madurai - Departure
As per the flight schedule, transfer to the airport to board the flight for the onward destination.
