The Northern part of the coast up to Goa is called the Konkan Coast. Witness the unexplored beauty of coastal Maharashtra on this 600km long road trip. Follow the Coastal Highway, the road which runs parallel to the coast, having unexplored and untouched beaches, temples & forts adjoining the sea, ghats wherein one gets the amazing view of the sea, bad roads, excellent roads, ferry crossings, bridges, etc. Roads covered with coconut trees and offering an ever-changing landscape at every 50km, shift from high cliffs to beach-side drives to isolated hilltops barren with red laterite soil.
Day 1 Arrive Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai airport, assistance & transfer to the hotel (hotel check-in/ out time 12 pm). Rest time is free to relax and for personal activities.

Day 2 Mumbai
Morning excursion to Elephant Caves (Monday closed). Later, city tour visiting CST, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan & Dhobhi Ghat.

Day 3 Mumbai - Alibaug (100kms)
Drive to Alibaug, check in at the hotel. Rest time is free to relax. Overnight at a beach resort.

Day 4 Alibaug
An optional excursion to visit Kankeshwar Temple, a fine example of the Hoysala style of architecture. One has to climb 750 steps to reach the temple. Rest time free to relax & hop on the beaches.

Day 5 Alibaug - Ratnagiri (300kms)
Drive to Ratnagiri via visiting Murud-Janjira Fort, located on a cliff overlooking the sea. Fort can be approached by sailboats from Rajapuri jetty & main gate of the fort can be seen only when one is about 40 feet away from it. Continue driving to Ratnagiri, and check in at the hotel.

Day 6 Ratnagiri - Goa (295kms)
Visit Thibaw Palace, a three-storeyed brick and teakwood palace where King Thibaw, the last king of Myanmar, was under house arrest by the British. Later, drive to Goa en route to visit Sindhudurg Fort. Continue driving to Goa, and check in at the hotel. Rest time is free to relax.

Day 7 Goa
Visit Old Goa monuments, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, St. Cathedral, Church of Our Lady of Miracles, Church of Our Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of St. Monica, The Aguada Fort and Portuguese lighthouse. In South Goa, visit Mangueshi Temple, Shanta Durga Temple & Margao. Drive past the charming beaches such as Calangute, Dona Paula, Miramar, and Baga Beach.

Day 8 Goa
Day free and easy to relax and explore the site of your interest on your own.

Day 9 Goa - Departure
As per the flight schedule, transfer to the airport to board the flight for the onward destination.
