Day 1 Delhi - Sunrise at Taj Mahal - Agra
Start early in the morning from Delhi and head towards Agra, which is approximately a 3-hour drive .
Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Spend ample time exploring the stunning architecture and learning about its history.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, you can have lunch at a local restaurant in Agra and taste some delicious Mughlai cuisine.
Next, visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its grand palaces, halls, and gardens while enjoying the panoramic views of the Yamuna River.
In the late afternoon, leave Agra and head towards Mathura, which is around a 1.5-hour drive.
Reach Mathura and check into a hotel. Mathura is known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and it is a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus.
In the evening, you can visit the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple complex, which houses various temples and shrines related to Lord Krishna.
Day 2 Vrindavan - Mathura - Delhi
Start your day early and visit the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, a town near Mathura. It is one of the most famous Krishna temples in India and attracts a large number of devotees.
Afterward, explore other prominent temples in Vrindavan like the Prem Mandir, ISKCON Temple, and Radha Raman Temple.
Have lunch at a local restaurant in Vrindavan, where you can savor traditional vegetarian cuisine.
In the afternoon, you can return to Mathura and visit other significant sites associated with Lord Krishna, such as the Dwarkadhish Temple, Vishram Ghat, and the Mathura Museum.
In the evening, you can stroll around the bustling streets of Mathura, shop for local handicrafts, or indulge in some street food.
Afterward, depart from Mathura and head back to Delhi. It's approximately a 3-hour drive.
Reach Delhi by late evening, and that concludes your 2-day tour of Delhi, Agra, and Mathura.
