The one day tour is beyond promising that makes you feel that every time you leave home, another road takes you into a world you were never in. You will be more subtle eye watching varieties of wildlife such as gazelles, giraffes, antelopes, elephants but the most assured animals which are rarely seen in other parks but to Mkomazi is assurance are the rhinos and wild dogs.
After breakfast meet our professional tours guide who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which, we travel to Mkomazi National Park. The park is vital refuge for two highly endangered species, the charismatic black rhino and sociable African wild dog.
Mkomazi is a virgin breath-taking beauty exhibiting unique natural treasures and immense sense of space which adds to the fulfilment of high visitor's enjoyment expectations which is a much needed bridge between northern circuit and coastal attractions. It is a fantastic destination for birdwatchers, with more than 450 avian species recorded, among them are the dry country endemics such as the cobalt chested vulturine guinea-fowl, other large ground birds such as ostrich, Kori bustard, secretary bird, ground hornbill and some migratory species including the Eurasian roller.
We will then enjoy a picnic lunch at the park, after which we travel back to Moshi or Arusha where we will end our African safari adventure.
