3-Day Ndutu Safari 3 days

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your driver or tour representative holding a sign with your name. After assisting with your luggage, they will transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha. The drive typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. On arrival, check in and settle into your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari.

Day 2: Arusha to Ndutu.

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast. You'll embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, passing traditional Maasai villages, rolling hills, and potential wildlife sightings as you approach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll enjoy a packed lunch or stop for a meal, depending on timing. In the afternoon, you'll enter the Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti, where a short game drive offers the first glimpses of migrating wildebeest herds, zebras, and possibly predators like cheetahs and hyenas. You’ll arrive at your tented camp or lodge in the evening, just in time for dinner and a safari briefing for the next day’s adventures.

Day 3: Explore the Safari in Ndutu-Arusha.

On the final day of your safari, start early with an optional sunrise game drive across the Ndutu plains to witness predators in action and enjoy the serene beauty of the plains at dawn. Return to your lodge for breakfast, then enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before beginning your transfer back to Arusha. Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands, with chances to spot wildlife along the way, and arrive in Arusha by late afternoon or early evening, concluding your memorable calving season adventure.
