Day 1: Arrival.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your driver or tour representative holding a sign with your name. After assisting with your luggage, they will transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha. The drive typically takes 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. On arrival, check in and settle into your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari. Overnight at Green Side Hotel.
Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park.
In the morning, you’ll depart from Arusha for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with an optional stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge. After a relaxing picnic lunch amidst the stunning Serengeti plains, enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti, famous for its predators and abundant wildlife. As the day ends, you’ll head to your comfortable campsite to unwind under the African sky. Overnight at a budget camping.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha.
In the early morning, embark on a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, the best time to witness predators actively hunting. After an exhilarating start, return to camp for a late breakfast. Continue your game drive as you exit the Serengeti, soaking in its vast landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the afternoon, drive through the conservation area with opportunities for wildlife viewing and an optional visit to a Maasai boma to experience local culture.
By late afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
