This 6 days and 5 nights tour is the best of wildlife and the oldest desert in the world tour. This safari combines the wildlife of the Etosha National Park with the dunes of the Sossusvlei which makes it one of the best tours for a newcomer to explore Namibia's mostly visited areas in the world.

Day 1 Etosha National Park

Clients are picked up at their destination and drive towards Etosha national park. On our way we have a stop at Okahandja craft centre here clients get to see different types of craft monuments at the centre. Etosha National Park offers a premier game viewing experience. The park’s diverse vegetation ranges from dense bush to open plains attracting a variety of wildlife. Located in the heart of the park is the Etosha Pan - a shallow depression that covers an area of 5000 square kilometres. Once clients have arrived at the Etosha National Park they will do an afternoon game drive around the park, clients can visit the etosha pans.

Overnight: Resort Halali or similar

is situated at the base of a dolomite hill, amongst shady Mopane trees. A flood-lit waterhole which is viewed from an elevated vantage point provides exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the day and into the night. Halali, Namutoni and Okaukuejo strategically located halfway between the natural surroundings. Other facilities include a restaurant, bar, shop, swimming pool, kiosk and camping facilities. Accommodation is provided in family chalets, two and four bed bush chalets and double rooms - all converted with large sliding doors to the outside, to allow visitors to experience and benefit from the peace and tranquility.

Etosha Pan

Day 2 Etosha National Park

Clients depart to the Etosha village campsite from from halali resort. From enjoying the bar and swimming pool and restaurant services clients will go enjoy more services at Etosha village campsite. Here clients can do alot of activities and they can mostly do game drive around the national park. Optional activities such as star gazing at the lodge, sundowners, Sun rise guided walk and Boma dinners those are evening dinners that are done during a campsite fire light and clients have dinner watching the stars in the sky.

The Etosha Village Camp Site is nestled in the spectacular green and gold Mopani forests surrounding Etosha National Park, and caters for both groups as well as individual travellers. The 2 spacious Group Camp Sites are ideal for larger groups and can accommodate a maximum of 25 - 30 tents. These sites are equipped with Power Outlets, Running Water, Lights, Barbeque area and separate Ladies and Gents Bathroom facilities each featuring toilets, wash basins and showers.

Day 3 Swakopmund

Clients depart from Etosha National Park to Swakopmund. Swakopmund is set along Namibia's spectacularly scenic coast, the seaside town of Swakopmund is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architecture, and is surrounded by otherworldly desert terrains. Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort town, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laidback atmosphere and cool sea breeze make it very popular Namibian destination. Visitors can look forward to a number of exciting activities including: quad biking, horse riding, paragliding, fishing, sightseeing and fascinating desert tours.

Day 4 Sossusvlei

Clients depart to Sossusvlei and they overnight at Desert camp. Here the clients get to do alot of activities and enjoy the desert landscape. Clients can enjoy a walking trail around the lodge with guide or alone. The views over the desert landscape and surrounding mountains provide a photographer with endless opportunities for the most spectacular nature shots.

Self-catering at its Best amidst unparalleled Desert Beauty... Park. Nestled under centuries old thorn trees, Desert Camp offers an unsurpassed view over the desert landscape and surrounding mountains. Desert Camp is situated only 5 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Naukluft Canyon in the Namib Sesriem. The affordable, self-catering accommodation units are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, shaded veranda with a fitted kitchenette, barbeque, power points and an adjacent parking area. Each twin-bedded bedroom features a fold-out sleeper couch where 2 small children (under 12) can be accommodated for free when sharing with their parents. Fresh food supplies can be ordered daily at reception. Facilities at the main building include a fully stocked and serviced bar with big screen television, a sparkling swimming pool and 2 communal boma-areas which are perfect for groups travelling together. Meals can be enjoyed at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant. Exciting desert activities like Guided Excursions to Sossusvlei, Quad Buggy Nature Drives, Sundowner Trips and magnificent Scenic Flights over the dunes and coast can be booked at the Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre.. A fully stocked shop, fuel and an Internet café is available at the Oasis Service Station

Day 5 Sossusvlei

Clients overnight at desert camp lodge and the can decide to do the dune drive or the sesriem canyon excursion. Explore the remarkable depths of Sesriem Canyon. The guides will share the history behind this magnificent natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab River. This guided excursion is ideal to explore Sossusvlei and the dunes! Regular stops at the landmarks and a guided walk to Deadvlei makes this excursion highly recommended!
