A short break to the famous Sossusvlei Dunes area of Namibia to experience the wide open spaces of the Namib Desert and dunes in this beautiful African country. For amazing things to do during your visit to Namibia, experience a journey to one of the oldest deserts in the world the mighty Namib Desert. This 3 day tour leaves from Windhoek and travels to Sossusvlei.
Day 1 Sossusvlei
Clients depart from Windhoek to Sossusvlei early in the morning. All our tours start at 08:30. Pick up time is between 08:00 and 08:30 from anywhere within Windhoek. Windhoek is surrounded by mountains and we pass first over the Eros Mountains and then over the Khomas Hochland Range. As we come through the mountains we drop down from the central Namibian plateau to grassy desert savannah. Once clients have arrived at the Sesriem Campsite or any other similar accommodation clients get to enjoy a sun-downer drive.

Day 2 Sossusvlei
After breakfast we will take a desert walk in the cool of the morning, with the chance of seeing gemsboks, springboks, black-backed jackals and ostriches. As the day cools down we will go on a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon before heading back. Early start to catch the soft light of the sunrise over the desert. After passing through Sesriem we continue towards Sossusvlei with sand dunes along both sides of the road. We will stop at the famous Dune 45. Those who feel fit may climb the dune and get a breathtaking view of the surrounding Namibian desert.

Day 3 Return to Windhoek
Clients depart back to Windhoek early and back to civilisation on scenic roads through the Khomas Hochland Mountain Range. We will arrive back in the city in the afternoon and you will be dropped off at your accommodation on our return.
