Day 1: Pick up from Airport / Casablanca
Your 10-day tour from Casablanca will start as you arrive at Casablanca Airport, and our driver/guide
will meet you and pick you up from the Airport to the hotel to start enjoying the Moroccan tour, detecting
the energy of Casablanca. If your arrival is in the morning, the tour starts with a visit to the Hassan II
Mosque, which is a piece of art of Moroccan architecture and stands on the coast of the Atlantic
Ocean.
In the later part of the afternoon, a walk through Ain Diab Beach is very relaxing, allowing the
visitor to embrace the seaside perspective of Casablanca. As for the visitors who are going to
arrive in the afternoon, the visit to the mosque and the beach is set for the next day, for you don't miss out on those sights before continuing the trip to Rabat. Spend some of your time in Casablanca
for a comfortable night’s stay before proceeding to the next part of the Moroccan tour.
Day 2: Casablanca -Rabat –Chefchaouen
For the second day of your Morocco itinerary, 10 days, after taking breakfast, organise a road
trip from Rabat to Chefchaouen, passing through different terrains and other places of interest. Start
with a brief tour of Rabat; the tour starts from the royal palace, which gives a sneak peek of the Moroccan
Palace Arrest and the Importance of the Moroccan King. Precede with your discovery of the
wonderful Kasbah des Oudayas, which majestically overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, giving you a view of
the ocean and a taste of Morocco's historical and cultural past. Next is a stop at the Hassan Tower –a
minaret with the uncompleted towering glory of the 12th century. Starting from Rabat, travel through

almond trees. Take a break in Ouazzane to wonder at the numerous and significant features of the
country’s countryside before getting to Chefchaouen, a city visitors know as the “Blue City“.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen-Volibilus –Meknes- Fes

southward into the very interior of the peninsula to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, classified as
world heritage. The view of this Roman city gradually opens up to the visitor as he or she climbs up to
a vast, isolated, and elevated tableland. Discover the ruined city of Volubilis with some of its features
still intact, now including arches, basilicas and incredibly simple and complex mosaics along the
Decumanus Maximus. The sightseeing is a lavish and historical one that will always be etched in your
memory.
Next, from Volubilis, the next stop is Meknes, which impresses with its massive ramparts and
architectural sites that include the monumental King Moulay Ismael Mosque. Visit some of the

accommodated as many as 12000 horses, demonstrating the city’s might and size during the reign of

images and moments of Fes.
Day 5 : Fes – Ifran – Midelt – Ziz valley- Erfoud – Merzouga
We start the fifth day of this 10-day tour from Casablanca starts from the city of Fes, and then we go to Ifran is known as the Switzerland of Africa, because of the clean environment and the ski resort of the
Middle Atlas. Here, discover the Brotherhood University, which is an international university with all
its lectures in English-launched by King Hassan II of Morocco and King Fahd of Saudi Arabia in 1997.
After a wonderful meal in Zaida – a marvellous Berber village – the journey goes on to Midelt, nestled
at the foot of the eastern High Atlas range.
Crossing the mountainous area, which is still populated by interesting Berber people, and admiring the
intricate geology and many palm groves, including the one at Jbel Ayachi, the mountain ranges 3747
meters. Descend into the pre-Saharan zone through Errachidia and Erfoud, which is famous for
artisanal pottery and millions of years old fossils found in quarries that are proof that in the early ages
this region was underwater and a part of the ocean. Last but not least, proceed to the fascinating
red dunes of Erg Chebbi close to the village of Merzouga, where the towering dunes of
Merzouga stand majestically on the horizon. You can end your day by riding a camel, then have a
magical dinner, after which you can sleep in a beautiful camp in the middle of the Sahara Desert.
Day 6: Sahara Desert-Rissani –Todra Valley – Todra Gorges- Dades Valley- Skoura Palm Oasis
Today marks a visit to the town, Errisani, for a visit to the 17th-century Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chrif, the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco. Errisani today still serves as a trading centre, although in the past it was strategically located on the commercial routes that passed through the
north-south divide. Continuing further 127 kilometres south-west of the Ait Benhaddou, beyond the
mid-rising High Atlas Mountains, there are the Todgha Gorges. Here, tourists are wowed by
structures, which are canyons somewhat akin to Colorado’s, divided by high plateaus with many
peaks over 4000 meters high, like Saghro and Mgoun. This region mainly consists of the Berbers, and
it’s a good place for trekking, marked by deep canyons.
Further on the drive, we head onwards to Dades Valley, which is now lined by pretty red alfalfa
fields, olive trees, fig trees and grape vines. This valley has the appearance of a very green area
of land surrounded by the borders of the rocky Atlas Mountains. Our day ends at the Skoura Palm
Oasis where we will visit a very distinctive Kasbah Amridel, and for an overnight stay amidst the quiet
calm of a historical oasis that boasts of palm groves as well as Berber construction design.
Day 7: Skoura Palm Oasis -Ouarzazate-Ait Ben Haddou- High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After the departure in the morning from Skoura, we are driving to Ouarzazate to which is called the
“Hollywood of Africa” and located on the rocky desert plateau at the southern periphery of the
High Atlas Mountains. This city, mainly consisting of the Berber group, is home to several kasbahs and
buildings such as the seventeenth-century Taourirt Kasbah, which is a popular tourist destination
owing to the aesthetic outlook of the building. Ouarzazate has emerged as one of the preferred
locations for the shooting of foreign films, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Gladiator (2000).
Ouarzazate has received fame as a shooting ground for many international films owing to the
largest studios in Morocco.
Following from this, it takes about 30 kilometres more to Aït Benhaddou, which is an 11th-century fortified city and was once a very strategically important place on the caravan route from the Sahara
desert to Marrakesh. Aït Benhaddou is situated on a hill on the stream of the Ounila River and has
beautiful examples of kasbahs, but they are highly susceptible to destruction by weather conditions.
Although most of those who were displaced now live in a newly developed village, a couple of families remain in this place. officially called Ait Ben Haddou, is a wonderful old ksar or fortified village
declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, and is often used as a movie set for films such as The
Jewel of the Nile (1985), Gladiator (2000), Alexander (2004), etc. Subsequent travel will be westward
to Marrakech, which is also called the “Homeland of God” in the Berber culture, but before that

Day 8: Marrakech city tour to explore the city
At 10 am, an official local guide will come to pick you up from your Hotel/Riad to begin the morning
A tour of the old Medina and visiting the souks during business hours. Stroll in the calm and spicy
physically Andalusian-style patios of Bahia, new and appreciate the opulent sitting and the sleeping
areas of the Bahia Palace, the grand built house of politics of 1866, originally Negro woman turned
business tycoon.
On to the next visit is the Marrakech Museum, which is housed in another royal palace; here, we see
beautiful art and sculpture. One can visit the Koutoubia Mosque, which also has an important minaret. It is known that other distinguished examples, such as Seville’s La Giralda, were derived from it.
The dynamics of the city can also be appreciated in the risk-taking secret garden and Madrasa Ben
Youssef. After that, for strolling, go back to the Souks and medina, which have small and twisted
alleyways to the Jemaa el Fna square. The remaining part of the day is flexible to either keep on with
the sightseeing and soundseeing or just waste time at the hotel. For dinner, you can either stay in your
hotel, walk within the Jemaa el Fna square or take a special dinner. (Overnight in Marrakech)
Day 9 : Marrakech- Essaouira –Marrakech
After breakfast at 8:30 am, start the drive from Marrakech to Essaouira, which is a coastal town that
has ramparts, about a 2.5-hour drive from Marrakech. On transferring to a fixed car-seat, the guide will
ensure that the travellers spend 30 minutes with local Berber ladies at the cooperative that deals
with the trading of Argan Oil, which is derived from the Argan tree exclusively found in Morocco, with
a demonstration on how the product is processed. Despite its size, Essaouira is famous for its rich
cultural identity, a part of Moroccan roots that is inspired by traditions of southern Africa and has a
large population of Jewish people.
It is notable for its moderate sea breezes, and is cold in winter and pleasantly cool in summer.
Combined with some of the best beaches, a historical fishing village, and unique architecture, this has
given the arts scene a real boost. Visit the medina and souks that offer products of gazelle made with
great effort put into carving wood and argan, and juniper products. Go out for a seafood lunch as the
situation allows and taste the local and fresh catch. Returning to Marrakech in the evening, go over
the day’s tour that covered the coastal town of Essaouira.
Day 10: Transfer from Marrakech to Casablanca Airport
This marks the end of the 10-day Morocco itinerary, where you will be transferred from Marrakech
back to Casablanca Airport. This last stage is designed to help you have a trouble-free start, after
saying goodbye to the beautiful scenery, active, and culturally diverse Morocco.
