Today we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Mar Girguis (Coptic Cairo area) for a private guided tour of Cairo's oldest district and home to ancient churches, the Ben Ezra Synagogue and a pair of Roman towers (the remains of the Fortress of Babylon), after that we will drive to Mokattam area and head to visit the unique amazing church of St Simon the tanner (better known as the cave church). Then we will drive you past the Zabaleen warehouses where you'll see workers sifting through Cairo's garbage by hand – not pretty but fascinating and valuable work! Then you will be transferred back to your hotel
