Our trip starts from Athens. On this amazing full day tour you will see the most beautiful sights and scenery. On our way I will give you a lot of information about history, mythology and culture.We will enjoy a visit to Delphi, novel of the world and the religious sites of Meteora. Also, we will pass by Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fought and the breathtaking Arachova. I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae's Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.
Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity.
Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we'll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.
After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.
Last but not least, we'll visit Distomo before returning to Athens. It's a dramatic village, where in 1944 350 people lost their lifes, it was a Nazi war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS in the village of Distomo, Greece, in 1944, during the German occupation of Greece during World War II.
